25. Self sabotaging behaviours as an introvert.

It dawned on me that I continually fall in this pattern when I have a program coming up, even though my life and my business are amazing and the momentum is building so quickly, these self sabotaging behaviours come up.

I wanted to share this so you know you are not alone and that these blocks will appear continually, but also to call myself out and bring it to your awareness if you are experiencing the same thing and maybe just didn't realise why it was happening.

I continually reach new heights month on month in my business and my life, I am truly blessed and grateful every single day, but it does not make me immune to experiencing stagnation and procrastination even though I practice what I reach and do the work.

So it has just dawned on me that my self sabotaging behaviors of procrastinating and hiding are keeping me stuck and I'm I'm playing small and so I am predominantly introverted. Like I did the Myers Briggs test again a few months back and it was like 73% introverted, which is a bit of a shock to my friends and family. And even ladies that I work with because they said, You know, I don't have that energy when I'm showing up. Because when I feel comfortable, I am super loud and really talkative and whatnot. But I am more introverted, I really need to have that time and space and alone time. But what I've realized is, these last few weeks, I have barely been putting out much content. I didn't put a podcast episode out last week, even though I have some there, right, I have some there. And, and again, like, just before I was watching Instagram stories, and I saw another lady who's also a projector, she said the same thing she because I keep hiding. And this is just like common problems as a projector. And I guess someone for me that is a bit more introverted, is every time I create an offer, and I'm putting it out and it's coming, like my mastermind is four weeks away, or maybe not even now, maybe three weeks away, it's

    June 1, it's kicking off. And I already have clients in signed ready to go so excited, and I'm pumped for it. And I know how much value it's going to add to them and their business. And yet, I'm feel stuck. And I feel like I have just sort of lost the drive to put out content, even though my business is booming. It keeps growing and it feels really good. And my life is incredible. I am so filled with love and gratitude for my life. And everything's moving in the background for me personally, and in business. But I keep hiding and saying, Oh no, that content is not good enough or not. I don't have the time right now to record an episode or I don't have the time right now to sit down and write and write out valuable content to post. And that is just my biggest self sabotaging behavior that continues to rise. So anyway, I just wanted to call myself out here and say, I am not going to play small, I am not because this is something that comes up. And if you do this as well, you know, whenever you have an offer or something, if you to feel like oh, you know, but if I write content, or I put out episodes, and I, you know, people just gonna think that I'm promoting my offer. And that's the only reason I'm here. And for some reason, that is the thought that keeps playing in my head like this constant soundtrack have like, it's fine to put out all this content and stuff and do what feels good and stuff. But when you have an offer, people are just gonna think you're trying to sell to them, which I'm at, that's never my intention. When I write content, it's just, I write it because I back it, I believe it. It's my opinion and my view and it's helpful. And it serves, it's always with the intention to serve. However, in the back of my mind, I think oh my god, I've got a program coming up, people aren't going to want to listen, or they aren't going to want to connect, because they're just going to think I'm going to sell to them, which is not how I sell anyway. I never do it with the intent of like, oh, I need to sell to make money. I don't do that. I always act in business as what feels good. What is serving? What is something that's beneficial to my listeners in my audience and my clients? And yet, I keep doing this behavior, you know, so it's definitely something I need to dive deeper into. But yeah, I just wanted to call it out here. You know, if you feel the same if you are more introverted, or even if you are a projector in business, this is one of our biggest things we need to work on constantly, right? And it's new level new devil every time that you hit a an A level or something in your business or in your development journey. It will always come up like that same it's the same blocks. It's the same success blocks money blocks, because I believe money and success blocks are exactly the same, right? And I've said it a million times, but I'll say it again, the level of success that you believe you're capable and worthy of it. Shaving is directly correlated with the amount of money you think you can create and receive. And it's like, I just go stuck, I get this energy of feeling stuck. And it makes me not be seen. It makes me hide, it makes me reconsider what I'm going to put out, it makes me reconsider jumping on stories, it just makes me doubt myself and the content. But that's not the case, you know. So I guess this is something it's a big thing of awareness for me that has literally just come up is you don't need to keep yourself small, you don't need to keep yourself stuck, you know, that you don't need to hide, you don't need to have that fear of judgment, that fear of you know, people thinking they're going to be sold to so they're not going to read your stuff, and they're not going to listen to your episodes, because that's all rubbish. And I know that's rubbish. But yet, it still rears its ugly head and affects the way that I show up. And so I guess, like to move through this, the first thing that I'm going to do is go into it a bit deeper. Why do I feel like that? You know, I know. That's my design. And my design is to wait for the invitation, right? That's my design. So sometimes I get stuck in the hole waiting, and I know of your project that you will 100% understand. But it's just this. Yeah, this feeling of stagnation. I mean, I continually make more money and gain more clients and sell programs effortlessly and easily. And even programs that I haven't yet created because people want them, you know, my clients want them. They want to keep working because they're having incredible transformations. And they are manifesting lots of money and success and momentum.

    But then I know all this, and then I come to this point of like, No, all of a sudden, I think I don't have time, and I never use time as an excuse, right? I never like to say, I don't have time. Yes, my time is scarce. However, I always make time for what's important. But what I've noticed is, I do have the time to record episodes, I do have the time to write content. And yet I find myself, I guess, second guessing. And it was just the realization then that it's every time I have an offer, I second guess. So we are the only ones responsible for giving ourselves permission to move and to do things and to create and to put it out in the world and to show up. And so here I am showing up in the midst of this like awakening that this has seemed seemingly what happens to me every time because if you're the same, it's okay to feel these feelings. But your gift is something of value that you need to share with the world that offers that you create the content that you put out, it is needed, it is necessary and your clients and your audience desire it, you know, they want to know what you have to say they want to know what your what you're thinking and what's happening in your world and what's happening in your business because you are inspiring them. And I just wanted to record this really, you know, quick, brief podcast episode, because this is something that just I've just realized today, you know, so go and give yourself permission to put it out there, whatever it is, you will always find the time and I promise when whenever you have an intention behind it behind what you're creating, and it's always for the greater good, it will always resonate, it will always hit home. And it's just like your money, when you have an intention behind your money and intention of how you're spending it and how you're trading it and why you're saving it and why you're investing it when there's always an intention because Money loves intention. Everything loves an intention. When it's for the greater good, it will always prevail. And it will always come back to you like your return on investment is always so much more than what you what you could imagine it would be when I started this podcast, I literally just started it because I'm someone who loves to talk. And this is just the easiest way to put out content. And so it was always with the intention to share. You know, I always put out episodes to share to serve for the greater good to help someone. And then the messages that I get and the feedback I get. And it's just incredible. And it always hits and it's always episodes from like, way back, you know, when I started that really hit home and it's like, oh, I just sort of ever forgot that I'd put that out, you know, because I'm just talking and, you know, I would say 99% of my episodes. I don't even have an outline as to what I'm going to say I literally just riff on whatever is going on at the moment. And so this is something that I I guess I yeah, I just wanted to share because it was an awakening for me to realize and to ask you the question, do you do the same? You know, do you find like right momentum when you're literally just in the building phase, you know, you're just building your business, you're just creating the platform, you're, you know, you've got ideas and things like that that are coming in, you know, you're serving and stuff, and it feels really easy. But then as soon as you have an offer, you second guess yourself and you start to go into hiding, and you start to be scared to be seen and be scared to be judged and be scared that people aren't going to resonate, or that people are just going to think that you're trying to sell if this happens to you, why, why? You know, what is the deeper cause for that? Because that is the, let's say, symptom, right? That's the symptom. That's the action or inactions that we're taking, right. But the root cause is what we're always trying to uncover, because the root cause is what always builds that momentum and pushes us forward. And yeah, like I said, I've just realized that for myself, it's what I've been doing. And I apologize that I've been doing that because that is not what I want to do. And I know that I need to keep showing up. And I want to keep showing up. Because I love my business. I love my life. I love my clients, I love my audience. And this community is amazing. And it lights up my life. So I yeah, just wanted to put that out there. And hopefully this resonates with at least one of you. And you might catch yourself actually doing the same thing and then question it, and then you get to make a choice, you know, you get to make a choice. Okay, if I have been hiding? Why have I been doing that? And how do I choose to move forward, because we always have a choice, everything in life is a choice, we can choose to do something about it, or we can choose to continue hiding, and continue being scared to be seen and judged and heard. And

    yeah, we don't need to, because that's why we're building these businesses, right? We're building these businesses, because it's for the greater good, because it's for a reason, a vision and mission that is so much bigger than you will ever imagine. So yeah, I just wanted to put that out. And, yes, off the back of that I do have a mastermind that's coming out June 1, it is going to be bloody amazing. I thought all the ladies are already in it are so excited and pumped. And I just can't wait. I cannot wait. You know, I saw the transformations that happen just in my money methodology program, which I only ran for five weeks, you know, the transformations in a five week program were huge. So imagine the transformations that are going to be in a six month container. It is going to be incredible. And I know that so there you go, I'm going to stop hiding, stop being scared to be seen or heard or, you know, people think I'm just trying to sell to them. There I'm sharing my office because they are for the greater good. And the intention is to always serve and help and inspire and motivate. And that's why I'm here. And that's why I do what I do.
