Hi, everybody. And welcome back to another episode. Thank you so much for being here. And I'm sorry, this didn't come out last week. But if you follow me on Instagram, you would know that COVID got the whole house. So I just had to surrender. Last week, I just had to surrender. My husband first tested positive, the couple of days later, I was definitely experiencing all the symptoms. But you know, I had to still look after all three children while he stayed away, because we knew obviously, he was positive. So it was just exhausting. Last week ended up just being exhausting. And so I had to surrender, I had to say, You know what, I just think I'm not gonna be able to get it out. Because I don't want to record one of these podcast episodes. I love this. I love this so much. And I've built such a community. And I have find myself in conversations with women all the time who have found me and then just binge every episode. And I do not want to let you guys down, I don't want to record an episode and half our set, because you will absolutely feel my energy and whether I'm in it or not. And if I recorded it last week, I was in the midst of having COVID. And let me tell you, it would have come off real flat, and just not the vibe I want to give here. So surrendering is something I want to talk about this week. So in the last week, I have like I said, I had COVID My whole house at COVID. So we've just sort of been locked down here and getting through it. In that time, I've still managed to have clients find me, book calls pay me want to work with me, not just once off. But privately. I haven't even been on social media that much. And it's crazy, right? It's crazy. But I'm still making money. And I'm still making sales in this time, even though I've barely you know, quote, unquote, worked in his time. Yesterday, while sitting outside watching my kids play on. We've got this little like jumping pillow slash waterslide thing. Anyway, as I was sitting there watching them, and I'm replying to DMS, and I'm checking my emails. And I noticed oh my gosh, within the was like within 10 hours. So this was yesterday morning, from the 10 hours prior, I had made just shy of $900. And I went, Oh my God, because I made it $900 In 10 hours and part of those 10 hours I was asleep. And I only like worked for maybe 1520 minutes in the whole 24 hours around that. And I thought this is what it is. It's all about those small little incremental things that you do, not even daily, because I know for myself, and if you're in the same stage of like motherhood, as I am, my eldest is only four. And I have three. So I can't do as much work every day that I would like to, you know, I've got to surrender. Motherhood always comes first my children come first. And so I haven't even worked that hard. Not that I like I would normally do. You know, pre kids, when I was working full time project managing up till 10 You know, you name it, and I did it. I worked so damn hard all the time. And I just you know, I never been out of energy. But now I can, I'd like seriously cannot work that much. Because when I burn out and I need that energy for my kids, for myself, I burn out so much easier. So overall, I don't actually work that many hours. And I and I've definitely got better at this. It didn't also definitely didn't start like that i for a while I was you know, I know. I knew what to do when starting a business. I had no idea. But now I've just gotten really good at it. And progressively getting better and better. But I just wanted to share that not as like, Oh, look at me and look at what I what I made in just 10 hours and really pretty much did stuff hold. But that's not what I'm trying to say what I'm trying to explain here is you too, can do things like that. Because it's all about those, those incremental things that you do in the days and weeks and months leading up to that point. It's not about grinding all day stuff, the grind. I'm not down for the grind and the hustle mentality. I don't do with that. I like to rest I'm a projector human design on the project up. I can only work a couple hours a day and then I'm like done. So you can still do those sorts of things. And you can have clients still find you regardless of how much you actually work. So in That time, like I think went on, I went on a bit of a tangent there. But in that, say, 24 hours around that time that I made that money. I literally did a few stories, wrote one post and reply to some DMs, it was probably all up that 1520 minutes of my daughter in the, in that 24 hours, and it was yeah, no 900 bucks. So mind blown, right? It's all those incremental things. So this whole episode is about how to learn how to surrender to earn more and work less. And it's not about being lazy. It's not about going like I'll just sit back and you know, the universe will bring me all the money and all the clients and all the things, it's not about that. But in my experience, unicorn clients do exist. And if there's a huge big thing that I noticed, it was that even in like yesterday, this was another thing that I was doing yesterday, I noticed I looked at the my business income from November, December, January and month on month, I have been more than doubling like actually three to four times, multiplying my income month on month, mind blowing,
6:12
blowing, and I look really, I haven't even worked that hard. I'm not kidding, I haven't even worked that hard. I've had so much fun. In my business. This is a big part. With your money mindset. Money is supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be playful. If you show up a business, and it comes from a place of need, like I need these clients, I need this money. It sends out those like, what is the word, it sends out those desperate vibes. That's not what we want here. We want money to be fun. We want business to be family, we want clients to be fun, we want them to be aligned. And in my experience, that is what is happening. And it's just getting easier. So I'm not about following all the rules and finding the secret method and this proven system. No, I'm not. I'm about finding your own rhythm. That is what I've found has worked for me. And that is what I teach my clients. Yeah, sure, I will definitely give you exercises to do and point you in certain directions and give you some guidance and advice because I definitely have a gift of being able to see the potential in other people and look outside the box, especially when it's your own business, it's so easy to stay in your business, and you get sort of sucked into the logistics of it all. Whereas I guess I'm more of a, like a visionary type person. So yes, this is what I want to talk about today, just how surrendering can make it easier for you in your life and your business. So just to do a little recap of my week. So first off, I want to sort of give you a little bit of a recap. So last week, I kicked off being in like a, like a macro mind where we're talking about having million dollar businesses, and what that looks like, and what opportunities could come from that. Honestly, it was magic, just magic. And my takeaways were exactly that exactly what I want, you know, and being bold and putting it out there. I always wanted to call myself a millionaire, like, haven't you how amazing how amazing turning around and being like, Yeah, I'm a millionaire, or multi millionaire, or whatever it is. I have always had that, that like I really want to be rich and famous one day. Now nowadays, it looks different. Back when I was a kid, it was like, I want to be rich and famous, like Britney Spears. Not like that anymore. But imagine the doors that could open for you, right? It's not about being able to say you're a millionaire or multi millionaire, but it's about the doors that would open the freedom that it would provide the experiences that you would have. So right now, I just want you to dream for a minute and think about what comes up for you. Your desires are the gateway to your soul's purpose. So let yourself just dream and then feel into that. What do you see? What can you hear? In How do you feel? Your desires are the gateway to your soul's purpose. I think that's so, so cool. And when you let yourself daydream and when you let yourself be a dreamer, so many things will come up for you. I often find that it's really hard to get that space. Or maybe it's just don't prioritize getting the space. I mean, trying to find quiet time with three kids constantly is it's really hard. But you can do it. And I just want you to while you're listening to this, just think like what are you seeing what are your desires, because that's going to take you and lead you to your purpose and it's going to make you feel fulfilled and then it's going to make the actions that you take in your business more fun, more playful. That's what brings in the abundance for you is when you play and when you have fun and it's not from a place of need. It's just from a playful, pleasurable experience. So I want you to take just a little bit further now, and think about everything that just come up for you. When you think your desires are the gateway to your soul's purpose and let yourself dream, I want you now to go and get that all on a vision board, whether it be on the background of your phone, the background of your computer, or just do it old school and print it all off. Do it because those images and those feelings, those ideas, those words, they all came to you for a reason. And it may not make any sense. Now,
10:28
I've definitely learned that it doesn't always make sense. But that doesn't matter. Because in due time, it will. Certain things that I've thought of in my head. And I've, I've I've envisioned, sometimes I've thought, oh God, who am I to envision that or who want to think that. But then, without even realizing, I look back and I like I look at say, you know, my situation now, for instance, with business, right? Like when I started my business, and then I went and had a massive break, because I was just continually burning out, right, I was just burning out. And then I had like an enlightening experience. And that's when I came back last year and started sharing again, and sharing in this way. It's just it's way more natural to me. And now I've thought, oh my god, now I'm one of those women who wakes up and money's just coming in while I'm sleeping. That was a dream. For me. That was just something that I thought, oh, wouldn't that be amazing? You know, like, that's what I want. Like, I want to be able to do that. And now is already there. And it wasn't even that long ago. So this is how, when you become intentional with what you want, and you get clear on your desires, and then it ends up your actions then end up cultivating this full experience for you. This is when you jump into different realities and different versions from where you are to where you want to be, they all start to become one very, very quickly. And I know for myself, that's definitely what's happened, you know. So the next thing I want to talk about that I did touch on before was my income going from November to December to January, I just want to say, I did all that, by throwing out all the rules. Keeping it simple. Having short bursts of just time, focus time is enough. If you've ever heard of the Pomodoro Technique, try this if you do struggle with the time or you don't have a lot of time, but there is a lot of things you want to do. The Pomodoro Technique is when you set a do set a timer for 20 minutes, and you literally just work for 20 minutes. Focus, though focused on the one thing that you're doing. Set the timer, I actually love setting timers on Google always set them you know, my other tour, my eldest to our daycare, and I've just got the baby when she goes down for a nap, I'll set a timer on Google and it might be 3040 minutes, sometimes sometimes it's only 20. Sometimes it's more. And I set a timer and I sit there and I just do what it is that I need to get done. And that's often when I realized like, Oh, I'll tell Google to stop, you know, it's been 40 minutes. And I've been so focused and built up so much momentum that I just want to keep going. That also happens to I notice. So now that we've just gone through thinking about flowing into millions of dollars in your business, getting clear on what your desires are, what your sole purpose is letting yourself dream doing that vision board becoming CLIA. Now what I want you to do is throw out all the rules, keep it simple, have short bursts of focus time, that is enough. You don't need to go and work 10 to 12 hours every day in order to build momentum in your business. You just don't if anything, it'll hold you back because you think you'd have to work hard. And I know for the longest time, and it is definitely still one of the ones that I do come up against a lot. Money is hard to earn. That belief pops up a lot. I guess depending on the area that you work in the field that you work in, that can be true, but it doesn't have to be when you own your business, right. So that's different. When you start working for yourself, you are in control of the abundance that you create. You are in control of the abundance that you receive. It's not about having to work long hours. It's about being focused, doing one thing at a time. Actually, one thing I will say here is studies have shown I know that women and myself included do this all the time, right? I'm like, oh, you know what? I can multitask. Multitasking doesn't work. There you go. I said it. Women have always been perceived to be fabulous multitaskers. If you've ever heard of Lorraine Murphy, incredible woman, but she says focusing on one thing and finishing it. Rather than trying to do five things at a time you will always be more efficient. So focus on one thing that you have to do get it done, move on to the next. Don't try and do a little bit of this a little bit of that a little bit that and allow yourself to be distracted because you'll get to the end of the day. You've done nothing. Have you ever felt like that, you know, you've been working and it's like a whole day and you go, Oh my God, it's five o'clock. And I feel like I've just, I've still got so much shit to do. And I've barely got anything done in that time, probably because you've been trying to multitask. Rather than just focus on one thing, move to the next thing, you're not focused. Now with that being said,
15:19
there's definitely different ways that you can move in. So here's some more practical things that you can do, right? Do an audit of your days, for the next few days, you will be shocked at how much time you're actually wasting. People asked me all the time, how do I manage to fit everything in? How do I get it all done with three kids and a business and studying and trying to do the podcast and coaching clients and all that stuff. The fact is that I don't, I don't feel like I get anywhere near as much done as what I could. But I surrender to this. So back to the surrendering, I do what I need to do, I definitely still catch myself procrastinating. But I do what I need to do. And I take those little steps because little by little you build that momentum in your business and in your life. Little by little, it's not about the big bold actions all the time, it's a lot to do with just I'll do this one thing, I'll send this one email or follow up this one client, I'll just spend an hour channeling my next program, or I'll spend 10 minutes meditating and journaling just to see what comes up and see what way I need to go. It's just those little things. So do an audit, write down every single thing that you do in your day, in your week, whatever it might be, whether it's business life, the lot. And then ask yourself one, what can you eliminate? Two, what can you delegate? And three? What can you streamline? So I'm gonna go through those again, once you've audited or audited, once you've audited your day and week, whatever it is, and you literally written down every single task that you have to do. Look at it, what can you eliminate? What can you delegate? What can you streamline, these are all your energy leaks at these energy lakes, the things that you really hate doing, they're going to continue to control you daily, and they're not going to help you calibrate $2 million businesses, it'll do the opposite. If you have resistance, when you feel resistance towards doing something in your life and your business, it doesn't matter whether it has to do with your home life or whether it's got to do with your business life. It's still an energy leak, it's still white on your shoulders that you're thinking about, Oh, this impending thing I have to do or whatnot, get rid of it, delegate it, or streamline it. You're here to be the visionary, the leader, the coach, the boss, the service provider, the wealthy woman, you're not here to be someone who has to do all the things all the time. Last thing that I wanted to really touch on in this podcast episode is unicorn clients. So attracting unicorn clients begins when you completely let go of strategy. I stopped thinking everyone else had the best method. I stopped thinking that everyone had the best method, the proven pathway, the strategy, I just began to share what intuitively come up without overthinking. I just would allow myself to listen. And then I would write, and then I'd read what I wrote. And then I'd think, Oh, does this really resonate with my ideal client? You know, though, that specific woman that I'm speaking to, maybe I'd tweak a couple words here and there, but often, my ideal client is literally a past version of myself. So it's not that hard to speak to because I've been in I've been in her shoes, right? I've been in your shoes. So I'm sharing everything that I share, because I've been there. And I have felt that and I have thought that way, and I've overcome it, or I'm just sharing what I'm learning. I guess that's the whole thing. This whole podcast is about what I have learned, and what I'm continuing to learn as I make my way through this business journey. And I appreciate all your messages so much. I I can't even tell you how many messages I've received where people have just said, I've just finished everything you've everything you've put out. I have been to every episode. And they've resonated with everything. They love it and I'm speaking directly to them. And you know what's funny, I'm speaking to you, when I'm actually speaking to a past may isn't and sometimes it's like past me from couple days ago, I'm just sharing as I go. So I love how many of you are literally like me and you're having the same journey as me in a roundabout way. So that's literally all I would do. My posts would just feel flowy because they just come straight from my soul.
19:42
There's not a lot of thinking there. It's just, I feel called to write this. I'm just gonna write it and check a few hashtags, maybe a call to action most of the time. They're really the only two I guess strategic things that I do when I post or share on social media. It's just, I share what I share because cuz it's come up, and I feel called to share it. And then I know hashtags help visibility and a call to action. Obviously, you know, you need to get used to selling and showing up and putting yourself out there. But a call to action is great, even if it's just building community. That's all I did for the longest time. And I still love that more than anything is just building community and having conversations and coaching. And it's just, it's what I'm supposed to be doing with my life. It's my purpose. So another thing that I also did to help me attract those unicorn clients was I outsource before I was ready, I got an incredible personal assistant as the best thing I ever did. Because to be honest, I just suck at sitting down, forcing myself to write content, and then I waste so much time on Canva trying to do all the graphics. So now I just write when I feel in flow, and that's why the last few weeks, I've barely posted anything, because I haven't felt that flowy I really haven't. I haven't felt that flowy My head's been in visionary channeling land for products that will come out this year for offerings, it'll come out this year, and getting really stuck into my study at the moment. So that's kind of all I do, I just I write when I'm in flow, I pass it on to my PA, she does all the incredible things and makes all the images and schedules that follow me on social done. That was a big energy leak for me wasting time on Canva. So it was definitely something I needed to outsource. And again, once you do your audit of your week or your day, you will know where your energy leaks are like, where are you wasting three hours of your time, which someone could do in literally 20 minutes. So it's doing things like that, that everything that I've shared in this episode, this episode could feel like it's, you know, here, there and everywhere. But the whole point was to learn to surrender to earn more work less energy leaks, where are you leaking energy? What are the tasks that you just absolutely hate? Or they suck you dry? You procrastinate on looking at them? Can you eliminate them? Can you delegate them? Can you streamline them, all those things will work together to then find you those ideal clients have that money flowing in when you're asleep? Right, it's such a vibe. So doing all those sorts of things all work together, throw out the strategies you do not need to post every day you do not need to be on stories every day, you do not need to write every day. You just don't live your life, do the little things. The little things is what builds the momentum in your business. And you know, if one day is a write off God if even a week's a write off, right, like, who cares? Pick up where you left off, keep moving. Your vision is so much bigger than you and you are here to serve your clients and they need you they need what you have to offer. So build those little momentum those little patterns, those little habits, whatever it is, but go easy on yourself. It doesn't always work. Thanks for listening to this week's episode. I hope you enjoyed it and if so, please subscribe to the podcast and join our mailing list at money mindset hub.com. Until next time, remember, everything you desire and deserve is just on the other side of your own resistance. So take that next step.
