  • Speaker 1 (00:00:00) - Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Money Mindset Hub podcast. I am so excited to be here. And honestly, I was asking myself, what is something that you need to hear from me this week? What is something that is showing up in my life and something that I feel like is a timeless message for you? And maybe it's going to be a little bit of a kick up the bar. I don't know. But it could be a bit of a passionate rant. But let's just let's just dive straight in. Okay. So this one is all about how I think it's really, really crucial to just face your fears head on, chase your fears, look for your fears, actively go to uncover them because we can't avoid them, right? We can't avoid them. They're going to subconsciously hold you back and affect your behavior. And when it affects your behavior, it affects your actions or the way that you don't act and your results. So our behavior and the way that we lead ourselves and show up, no matter what is the most crucial part, regardless of the fears that we have.

Speaker 1 (00:01:00) - And you know what? It might sound counterintuitive, but I find sometimes we are also so stuck on the fact that we can't move, we can't do certain things. We don't believe we can do certain things because we always think there has to be a block. But you know what? Sometimes there isn't actually a block. It just feels uncomfortable for whatever reason. And I think that going and chasing your fears and uncovering them is the way that you move forward. And so this is something that I'm not immune to having fears, right? When someone says they're absolutely fearless, they're lying. Everybody has fears, okay? Everybody has fears. People just get really good at moving through them and shifting them when they come up rather than them getting paralyzed in that fear and not actually moving and taking action. Because at the end of the day, the actions that you take are what lead to your result. So if you're allowing your fears to stop you or you're avoiding them, they're going to continue to read their ugly head.

Speaker 1 (00:01:54) - Subconsciously, they're going to play out and it's going to affect your actions that you take in your business, and that's going to affect the results. So you might be thinking, I want to hit X amount of money, X amount of clients, X amount of impact, but you're actually not taking the action that's required to get you there because you have these fears or doubts or beliefs that under the cover and we're just not chasing them. We're not looking for them, we're not shifting them. So this is something that I've got really good at is actually when a fear comes up. I move through it, I shift it really quickly, but I'm also making myself uncomfortable all the time and I'm chasing my fears. I'm uncovering them as I go. And that is how you get to your edge and that is how you uplevel it's when you feel these fears, but you move through them anyway. You continually seek them out and you challenge them and you shift those beliefs and you reframe them to something that is more positive.

Speaker 1 (00:02:45) - And you don't stop taking action regardless of a fear, regardless of a block that you feel you can still move no matter what. They shouldn't stop you in your tracks. And if they do, this is where we need to clear them. We need to heal them. We need to do that inner work. Over the last few years, I could have had all the excuses. You know, when I relaunched my business two years ago, I had three preschool aged kids. Now that I could have said, You know what, I don't have enough time. Maybe I went to my kids are older, you know, there's just not enough time in the day the kids are here. I can't record my kids here in the moment. They're in the other room. They're watching Peppa Pig. I've got my two youngest with me and I'm like, You know what? Just grab the mic and start talking. Because unless I do it now, soon we're going to go do school pick up, and then next thing it's dinner.

Speaker 1 (00:03:31) - It's not and it's all over. There goes another day. So what can you do every day? Rather than play into your excuses and play into your fears or your doubts or your limitations that you're placing upon yourself and just move. Just do one thing. So in that first year of launching my business, I had at least one with me 24 over seven. She wasn't in daycare. She was in a hip brace. She had hip dysplasia in her left hip. And so she was in a brace 24 seven for at least six months. And I could have let that stop me, but I didn't. I just did what I could in the pockets of time that I had. The second year last year, I only had one day when all the kids were actually in daycare at the same time, one day, one whole day to move the needle in my business and do what I need to do and actually work on my beliefs and go into that, have the time to myself. That self-care, all of that.

Speaker 1 (00:04:23) - I just crammed it all into one day. I did the best that I could, and now I've finally got two days of daycare and school. Two days feels like an eternity given having none for so long and having one for so long. But here's what I really want to go into, right? Because entrepreneurship is just a game. It honestly is. And if there's no risk, there's no reward. So by staying safe and being comfortable, it stops your ability to be able to quantum leap. You think about those big, big, big goals that you have. If you are not taking the risk, if you're not pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone, if you're not chasing your fears, you will always stay in the same place. Or maybe you feel like you're moving like at a snail's pace, right? Action is what creates these quantum leaps. It's the moves that you make when you trust your authority and your intuition, because your intuition always knows what's best for you. It always knows.

Speaker 1 (00:05:18) - And it's trying to give you the guidance, but it's whether you choose to listen to it or not. So the real question is here do you trust your intuition enough to take that chance? It's on you provided that you have the staying power in this game, this game of entrepreneurship, and you can ride the waves. You will always be successful. You will always succeed at that thing, at that goal, at that level that you want to hit. It's the staying power that gets you there. There will be high highs and low lows and sometimes it honestly feels like things aren't working. They aren't working until they do. And we can't always see that. We just have this undeniable inner knowing that it's going to work out and things are going to come together and your biggest dreams are going to come to fruition. But that's when you have to have that staying power. You have to flex that faith muscle, clear the beliefs around why it won't work. Why do you think it won't work? Why do you think that's not for you? If someone shows you something is possible, it is possible for you.

Speaker 1 (00:06:18) - And that is one of the biggest beliefs that I've had to shift. If she can do it, I can do it. If I can do it, you can do it. I swear you can do it. You can do anything that you set your mind to. You just have to have that staying power, that tenacity, that audacity, that grit to just keep moving no matter what, no matter what. When things are hard, you choose your hard and you've got to focus on continually building confidence. And when you have that undeniable confidence that you will succeed, you trust your authority, you trust your intuition. You make the moves you do, the things you don't allow anything to hold you back. You chase your fears, you uncover them. You keep moving forward. Then you are always going to be successful. When you put yourself around people that expand, you get in expansive circles, expand yourself, lead yourself and be around people who are actually doing what you desire to do. You're going to quantum leap a lot faster.

Speaker 1 (00:07:09) - I definitely have. It is one of the biggest things that I've had to do, and it has made me uncomfortable. How? Yes. Has it been scary? Have I been fearful? Of course I have. Of course I have. I wouldn't put myself out there if I continued to play into the belief system that no one wants to hear what I have to say. People are going to judge me. Guess what? People are going to judge you no matter what. And the people that judge you are the people that aren't doing as good as you. No one who is doing better than you is going to judge you. They are going to say, keep going. You've got this. You think about it, your intuition knows what's coming next. Your higher self is like, if you just keep going, if you just keep chasing your fears, you just keep doing the things that you need to do and you never give up and you never stop believing yourself. This is what's on the other side.

Speaker 1 (00:07:53) - It just wants to show you. Can you visualize that? Visualize your own success. What are the things you're actually going for? Now keep moving to get towards that. The people that you surround yourself with are so important. It's not the ones that are going to play into your fears, play into your lap, play into your scarcity. Know that the ones that are going to call you out when they see you playing small, they see you staying safe. They see you saying and comfort land because nothing expansive comes from staying in that place. So be really mindful. Like ask yourself right now, where am I holding myself back? Where am I scared to face my fears? Where am I playing small? What do I really want to do? What is my highest self really want to do? How would she show up? How would she move? And then keep moving in that direction. A great piece of advice that I heard many years ago was never take advice from someone who hasn't walked the path that you desire to walk.

Speaker 1 (00:08:46) - Okay. Someone who doesn't know. Like if I took advice from everyone that I know that has never had a business, has never had an online business, has never done this kind of thing. I probably wouldn't have done it, but I listened to the ones that had done it, the ones that had walked the path that I desire to walk. And I just keep walking and I'm scared. Some days, of course I am. I've felt so many edges recently, but there's always this resistance that comes up when you're at an edge, when you face a fear, when you challenge yourself, when you become uncomfortable, there is always a beautiful thing on the other side of that. But there is so much resistance and fear around that place. When you get to that point, it feels like this strange thing. It feels like, Oh my God, is this going to work? I don't know if this is going to work. I don't know if this is going to pay off. But it does.

Speaker 1 (00:09:34) - It does every time. Because when you know you trust yourself enough to take a chance on you, you will always succeed. You'll always come out the other side and be more beautiful than you ever imagined. I wouldn't have started this podcast if I didn't get over myself. All right. So here's your loving little slap. Just get over yourself. Get over yourself. Because the world needs what you have Your products, your services, your programs, whatever it is you're creating in this world, people need that. And it's doing a disservice to the people that need to hear from you. They need to hear your message. They need to hear the way you deliver it. One of the things I hear all the time from people that are just so scared to start is that the market's too saturated. There are so many money mindset coaches. There are so many business coaches. Not that I call myself a business coach, but inevitably I'm helping people manifest the masterpiece in their lives and in their businesses. But are there heaps of them? Yes, there are.

Speaker 1 (00:10:36) - How many billions of people are in this world? There are so many, but they're not me and they're not you. And they don't have your experiences and your knowledge and the way that you explain things, your personality, who you are to your core. Your morals, your truths, your values, they all count. And someone needs to hear from you. This honestly is such a ride, but you just have to keep your blinkers on, keep your blinkers on and go where you are going. And don't worry about what everyone else is doing. Don't worry about the world and what chaos is happening around you. We're going to find that equilibrium in between the calm and the chaos. If were to calm, were probably too in comfort land. They put too much in chaos. Then you haven't got your shit together, right? No one's got their shit together when too much chaos is going on, find that that equal balance state. You can't have balance all the time. Okay? Honestly, come to learn this like I kept trying to find the balance.

Speaker 1 (00:11:28) - Find the balance in how to work in motherhood and entrepreneurship in this journey that I'm on. But to be honest, like if my kids are sick, there is no such thing as balance. And when I'm feeling crappy or I'm sick, there's no such thing as balance. But I'm trying to find that state where I'm in between. I'm in between. And I love that. So Jordan Peterson explains, there's the calm and the chaos, and you want to be somewhere in the middle because that's when you're growing and evolving. And that's a beautiful place to be in. But sometimes I know it can feel like a drag. Sometimes you honestly, you just want to cry. You just want to cry. So if you do, do it and move or move, then cry. Just do something about it. Because when we don't change, we are choosing. Let me say that again. Whatever you don't change, you are choosing. Now, that could be a bit triggering because there might be things in your life you feel like you're not choosing them, but they're just happening to you.

Speaker 1 (00:12:24) - I want you to reframe that because everything is happening for you. Everything is happening for you. It's all just your perspective on what is actually going on. You choose where you end up. Don't worry about moving slow or feeling like you should be further ahead or you should be here already. Don't worry about that. Just choose to continue to shop for yourself, no matter how big or small that might look. Just keep moving. Keep finding what is holding you back. Keep moving through those Regardless those fears uncover them. We are all scared. Even people that are seemed like the most confident people in the world. I know I can seem pretty confident I am now, but I wasn't. I wasn't. And there's still times where I'm like, Oh, don't know if am that confident in this spot. I'm going to try no matter what, or I've never done this before, so I actually don't know what to expect. So of course I'm not confident in it, but I'm just going to do it no matter what.

Speaker 1 (00:13:16) - I'm going to work on my beliefs. I'm going to tell myself I can do this. Things that I always repeat to myself is feel the fear and do it anyway. Shout out to Tracie Harris from Moms with Hustle. She's the one heard say that for the first time many years ago. Feel the fear and do it anyway. And I've never, ever stopped repeating that phrase in my head. And my other phrase is something that Mick and I always say is it's all coming together. It's all coming together. Just feel the fear and do it anyway because it's all coming together. I always say those things over and over and over again in my head. No matter when a fear comes up, no matter when doubt comes up, no matter when a belief comes up. And it's not one that I want to playing into, I catch it, I shift it and I do something about it. I move forward and some days it might be one thing I do, you know, it might be in a week, there might be a few days that are just a total write off, Right? And that's okay, because at the end of the day, you're here for the long game and that's what it's about.

Speaker 1 (00:14:10) - Success comes to those that have that staying power for the long game business and money and success. It is not something that you can just snap your fingers and it all comes to you. It is a continual effort, just like happiness. Choosing to be happy is a choice. Happiness isn't something that you just wake up in every single day. You're like the happiest you could ever be. You choose to be happy. You choose to see the blessings in the mundane. But if you look at your day to day life and if you think, oh, you know, it's just it's average, it's boring, it's just the way it is, there's nothing spectacular. Choose the moments in those mundane things day to day that you are so grateful for. It's your perspective on the mundane that makes the difference. It's your perspective on the things that need to be done that make the difference. And when you move with them. There was so long there that I didn't move right? I kept learning all the things that didn't actually move because I was still full of so much self doubt and fear and limiting beliefs that I just didn't know what to do until I did because I was committed and still am.

Speaker 1 (00:15:10) - Because don't get me wrong, they still come up. I'm still committed to getting to where I want to go, but enjoying the ride along the way because I trust myself. I trust myself, and I will always take a chance on myself. Because you are the only one that gets to change your reality. So take a chance on you. Take a chance on you and never, ever, ever give up. Hope you like that. I'm going to leave it there short and sweet, but what I'm going to do is also link a masterclass that I delivered in the Matrix membership last month, which was about the nine most common money blocks for entrepreneurs. So I'm going to link that in the show notes so you can go and check that out if you'd like to. And also just want to say if you feel like you need a circle, you want to move through these beliefs and these fears and be held accountable and move forward no matter what and become the woman that you're proud of and take a chance on yourself.

Speaker 1 (00:16:04) - Please come and join the Matrix membership, because that's the place where we're doing it. All right. Until next time, Everything you desire and deserve is just on the other side of your own resistance. So keep moving forward and never give up and take that chance on you because only you can.
